Fun City is founded on two key mantras:

It is our belief that if people follow these mantras, and embark on all endeavors in the ethos of love and having fun — the world can be a very beautiful place to grow your spirit.

Love is the orientation. Every protocol, every interface, every AI-driven decision starts from "what would love do here?" Love is not soft — it is the highest-quality input a system can receive. AI trained on love produces care; AI trained on extraction produces exploitation. Same machine, different soul.

Fun is the method. Nothing sustainable is built without joy. The act of creating, the act of learning, the act of governing — if it isn't fun, it won't last. Fun is also a measurement: if your system can't be enjoyed, it isn't done yet.

• ·In the work — projects we won't take if they aren't fun. Roles we won't fill if they aren't joyful.
• ·In the city — Izumo Village is designed to be playful, beautiful, and curiosity-driven by default.
• ·In the AI — Pearl is trained to anticipate joy, not just productivity. Robots in Fun City are companions before they are tools.
• ·In governance — even decision-making can be fun. We design rituals around it.

These two phrases are short on purpose. Anyone in the city should be able to recall them in a moment of doubt and use them as a compass.
